Full services and interior renovation

The challenge

A full renovation where both the services and the interior finishing had to be renewed. On work like this, sequence governs the programme.

Work done in the wrong order has to be opened up later - and that's paying twice for the same stretch of wall.

Our approach

Structural and services work first, finishing after. Pipework and electrics are fixed before anything is closed up.

Walls, ceilings and floor finishes went in after all concealed services had been tested.

Work was tracked by week number, with hour reports issued weekly.

Outcome

A fully renovated interior with new services, in one continuous contract.

One party responsible for services and finishing - no debate about who was waiting on whom.
